Arsenal is ready for another busy summer and already they are about to close the signature of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. The deal had questioned the future of Thomas Party, but now there is a belief that both will play for the Emirates next season.

Partey has faced an uncertain future for the past few months. Especially people like Atletico Madrid who signed him to sign if he became a free agent in the summer. Once things stand, he ends his time at Arsenal without signing a new contract, but things could be about to change.

And that’s because there’s a growing belief that Part will remain in North London.

According to a soccer insider, Pete O’Rourke has revealed that Arsenal believes Part will sign a new contract in the coming weeks.

“There’s growing optimism that Part can reach a deal to see him remain with the Emirates. Arteta has come out and said Ghana International is one of Arsenal’s best players this season, so he really wants him to be there for the length of his contract…

“There’s obviously some kind of interest elsewhere, because if he becomes available as a free agent, there will be a lot of takers from Thomas Party. There are stories of Atletico Madrid being interested, and there are many clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Partey has proven to be a key player for Arsenal this season, so it makes perfect sense that he will be offered a new contract to allow him an opportunity to compete with Zubimendi for a defensive midfield Positon.
