  • Bruno Fernandez has been nominated by Bayern Munich
  • Man United was able to cash in Fernandez

Manchester United have had a worst season with Reuben Amorim’s side sitting 16th in the Premier League.

Losing the Europa League final against Premier League rival Tottenham exacerbated the problem for them.

The Red Devils are struggling on and off the pitch, but there could be more trouble in the coming weeks.

Many changes are expected at Old Trafford this summer, with many players expecting to leave the club and make way for new arrivals.

Rasmus Hojlund is one of the names associated with the move from Man United after a disappointing season with the Serie A club who is interested in signing him.

Along with Danish striker, midfielder Bruno Fernandez is linked to Al Giral, who is keen to sign the Portuguese midfielder, with the move to the Saudi Arabian professional league.

There’s another club that took part in the race this summer to sign United captain.

Bruno Fernandez has been nominated by Bayern Munich

According to TeamTalk, Bayern Munich is interested in signing Fernandez this summer after losing the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wiltz on his way to Liverpool.

The Amorim and United hierarchies are keen to keep Fernandez, but the situation could be put in hand.

The club was able to say goodbye to the 30-year-old midfielder to raise money for the necessary team overhaul this summer.

After failing to compete in the Champions League, United will need to raise financial pressure and offload multiple players before investing in a new signature.

Fernandez is considered one of the few assets that can generate significant transfer fees despite being an important part of the team.

Portugal International has once again highlighted his importance this season, registering impressive 19 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.

His creativity, leadership and consistency made him the heartbeat of the team, but Bayern’s potential big money bids were able to test United’s resolve.

Man United will consider selling Bruno Fernandez, but only in one condition
