Liverpool is currently working to sign Milos Kerquez from Bournemouth at the end of the season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations are underway between the two clubs and talks are ongoing. Romano claims the deal could be made soon, and Liverpool is a favorite to put together the move.
The 21-year-old Hungarian defender is also enthusiastic about the move, and agreeing to personal terms with him is not a problem.
Liverpool needs Miro
Liverpool desperately needs a quality left back, especially in the way Andy Robertson has regressed over the past 12 months. The Scottish International is a shadow of his former self, and he needs to be replaced.
Kerkez can be slotted in as a left back and wing back. The 21-year-old wide player will help Liverpool at both ends of the pitch.
Hungary International could be an ideal long-term acquisition. He has proven himself in Bournemouth and in the Premier League, and he has the ability to play for the largest club in the country. Participating in the Premier League champions is a major step in his career, and he aims to compete with them at the highest level.
Defenders will want to compete at a high level
The 21-year-old will want to win a major trophy in his career. He’ll also want to play in the Champions League. Liverpool could offer him the opportunity. It’s no surprise that he is open to joining them.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can now secure a reasonable deal with Cherry.
Liverpool is expected to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremy Fripon for the right-back role. They seem to be replacing the dynamic duo of Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson in the same window. Both players have been exceptional for the club for many years, but this is a good time for change.
