  • Mikel Arteta is a admirer of Lookman
  • Arsenal faces fierce competition

Ademola Lookman is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after players in the summer transfer window, with many top European clubs competing for his signature.

Atalanta and Nigeria International enjoyed the sensational season, scoring 20 goals and providing seven assists in all competitions, establishing themselves as key figures on Giampierogas Perini’s team.

Lookman’s explosive shape has not been noticed. Clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Juventus, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Naples and Barcelona all show a variety of interest in their versatile forwards.

The 27-year-old’s ability to manipulate across the front line makes him want, whether he’s the wing or the second striker.

Mikel Arteta is a admirer of Lookman

Arsenal is said to have been particularly impressed with Lookman’s adaptability and believes it can provide significant depth to Mikel Arteta’s offensive options.

His theatrical style is seen as naturally suited to Arteta’s high-intensity style. However, the competition between former RB Leipzig and Leicester City wingers is fierce, and Man United and Newcastle are pursuing reinforcements in similar positions.

Liverpool is also well in the race. The Reds had previously tried to sign Lookman in January, but were rejected by Atalanta, who didn’t want to sell the mid-season.

With a new era at Anfield under Arne Slot, Liverpool is expected to revive their interest this summer.

Juventus also appeared as a candidate, but their financial flexibility could be limited after already committing €60 million to other remittances.

A significant adjustment is required to meet Atalanta’s Lookman’s €60 million valuation.

Meanwhile, Napoli is looking at Lookman as an addition to the marquee in Kevin de Bruin’s post-sale reconstruction efforts.

Barcelona also first contacted the player representatives and evaluated their willingness to move to Laliga.

Despite Lookman’s desire to take the next step in his career, Atalanta continues to solidify their asking price.

Unless the club meets the 60 million euro valuation, the Serie A side is ready to hold the star.

Meanwhile, the gunners are also interested in the movements of Real Madrid star Rodrigo.
