  • Man United hopes for the star of Paris Saint-Germain
  • Lee Kang Yin wants an active role

Paris Saint-Germain could face a midfield departure during a big offensive this summer as South Korea’s international Lee Kang-in will become one of the hottest topics of his transfer period.

The attacking midfielder, who arrived in the French capital in 2023, is at the heart of widespread transfer speculation following the collapse of contract extension talks with the League One champion.

Despite having been on a contract until 2028, the long-term future for players at PSG appears to be increasingly uncertain.

Consultations over the new contract are at a dead end, and the club’s inability to secure his commitment has opened the door to potential European suitors.

Man United hopes for the star of Paris Saint-Germain

Among the club’s picks is Manchester United, who made the move to sign the 24-year-old this summer. I caught an offside.

Reuben Amorim wants to add an offensive midfield star to his team. He identified PSG Star as one of his targets.

Atletico Madrid, Naples, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are all contacted or registered interests.

Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid has rekindled years of praise for the players.

Simeone wanted to take him to the Spanish capital before moving on to PSG, but now sees the midfielder as an important solution to his team’s need for a left-footed creative presence.

Reports suggest that the La Liga giant is considering a formal approach in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Naples also pushes his signature hard. With Kevin de Bruin likely to join them this summer, the Italian side is viewing PSG’s playmaker as a complementary piece in their new look mid-length.

The players themselves prioritize career development over prominent destinations. He scored six PSG goals this season and provided the same number of assists.

He wants more play time and a manager who trusts and builds around him.

He maintained a positive working relationship with Luis Enrique and remains focused on PSG’s season finale, but rejected a long-term offer from the club.

With multiple Premier League and European sides turning, PSG needs to act quickly if they want to retain one of the most technically talented stars.

As far as United’s targets go, they are about to sign Liam Dellup, the town of Ipswich attacker this summer.
