Liverpool is linked to the movement of RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukba.

According to a TeamTalk report, they have been inquiring with the 22-year-old French defender and will be interesting to see if they follow up on the official offer to sign players. The defender has a £74.5 million release clause on the contract. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool is ready to pay him.

Liverpool plots another Bundesliga raid

It’s no secret that Liverpool needs another quality central defender. Manager Arne Slot is eager to be 22 years old. Liverpool is set to sign Jeremy Fripon and Florian Wiltz from the Bundesliga this summer. It will be interesting to see if they have decided to sign Lukeba.

The player has received high praise in Europe, and Peter Boss described him as a player who “has real talent with real potential.”

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Conate has been linked to moves that have left the club for the past few weeks. The player has not yet signed an extension of his contract with the club, and his contract expires in 2026. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can convince him to sign a new deal.

Lukeba could be a great alternative to his fellow countrymen.

The opportunity to attend Liverpool is also very exciting for him. Premier League champions have exceptional teams and quality managers. They are likely to challenge major trophies regularly, and are drawn to the idea that any player will join them.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The defender has also been linked to Manchester United and Real Madrid. There’s no doubt that he’s enough to play for all three clubs. And we still don’t know where he will end.
