The 2025 Man TT Island event is scheduled to take place from Monday, May 26th through Saturday, June 7th. Following a four-year gap caused by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the Isle of Man is now experiencing a resurgence in popularity for this iconic motorcycle race. In recent editions, extra races have been added to the lineup, making the two-week period from late May to early June particularly action-packed. The event will feature a total of 10 races encompassing various categories like Supersports, Supertwin, Superbikes, and Sidecars.
Michael Dunlop, the record holder with 29 wins set last year, is participating once again in 2025. Notably, the practice week format has been slightly adjusted, particularly for the Sidecar class, with the starting order now determined by qualifying times rather than seeding positions.
The practice week schedule includes a canceled session on Thursday, May 29th due to bad weather. On Friday, May 30th, Qualifying 2 and 3 take place at different times throughout the day and evening, with roads closed for racing and reopening afterward.
During race week:
– Saturday, May 31st: Super Sports TT Race 1 (4 laps) at 10:45 and SideCar TT Race 1 (3 laps) at 14:00.
– Sunday, June 1st: Superbike TT race (6 laps) at 13:30.
