Chelsea has been in the market for new strikers this summer, and is now looking to land one of their prioritized goals ahead of many Premier League competitors.

The final tickets are still available for the Champions League Finals!

In recent months, the decision has been made within Chelsea that Nicholas Jackson cannot be relied on as a starting striker. That’s why many targets line up before the summer transfer period. One of them is Liam Delap. He will be available for £30 million in accordance with the demolition release clause of the Ipswich deal.

Dellup has also been interested in Man United, Newcastle and Everton, but the former Man City striker has turned his mind to his move towards the newly crowned UEFA Conference League champion.

As David Ornstein reported, Dellup representatives informed Man United, Newcastle, Everton and Nottingham Forest that the striker had decided to sign Chelsea this summer. Personal terminology is expected to be discussed in the coming weeks.

At 22, Dellup has been years ahead of him to reach his potential, so there’s no doubt that he’s an excellent signature for Chelsea. But it will be interesting to see if he is the only striker to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Nevertheless, Delap is keen to establish himself as Enzo Maresca’s starting striker, and at this stage he certainly has plenty of potential to become Chelsea’s new number nine.
