Liverpool is interested in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimen during the summer transfer period.

He has loaned out this past season at Turkish club Galatasarei, scoring 37 goals in all competitions. The players got eight assists along the way.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool wants to sign him this summer, and they’re also looking at other offensive options. It remains to be seen whether they will come forward with an offer to sign the Naples striker.

He is not needed by Italian clubs in Italy, and the Italian champion will try to sell him in the summer. Liverpool wants to negotiate a reasonable deal for him. It is still unknown how the situation will unfold.

Osimhen is also linked to Manchester United. A recent report claims that Chelsea is keeping an eye on him.

Liverpool can use strikers

It’s no secret that Liverpool needs quality strikers. They have a formidable team, but the lack of reliable finishers has proven costly for them this past season.

Darwin Nunes has discovered that he has only been behind the net in just seven times in every competition. Liverpool needs an upgrade to South America.

Osimhen has proven to be a reliable performer for many years, and he is certainly one of the best strikers in European football right now. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can get trades across the line.

The opportunity to participate in the Premier League champions is also very appealing to players. It will be a great opportunity for him to showcase his qualities at a high level.
