  • Arsenal is set to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad

Arsenal supporters will see many different stories uncovered over the coming months regarding Andrea Berta’s transfer efforts. Mikel Arteta is considering rebuilding his team and building a Premier League champion.

When asked about plans for the upcoming season, the Gunners boss admitted to getting “goosebumps” while thinking about summer after Arsenal was confirmed as runner-up behind Liverpool.

He is leaving imminently.

Many noise is concentrated in searching for new strikers, with CP Viktor Gyoker and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko working on Arsenal (BBC), but North Londoners have been able to strengthen many other regions.

Arsenal held talks over a contract with Dean Huyssen before switching to Real Madrid, but Berta is also believed to be actively pursuing a new winger, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

They appear to be set to attack the market at Gusto after missing 10 points this year’s title to Liverpool, and Arteta began work behind the scenes with his own admission.

“Now, right now,” Arteta said when asked about plans for a new season after his final 24/25 match against Southampton (via Sky).

“The moment I start thinking about it, I get goosebumps and excitement. We already have some things we’re discussing and making decisions. Everything that’s planned for the pre-season and for the first few weeks of the season is already done a few months ago.

“My day already looks different. There’s a lot to do, but it’s not the feeling of the game coming up, especially in my stomach feeling. It’s something else and it changes everything.”

Many plans also became pre-summer deals for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

After months of rumoured speech, Fabrizio Romano finally handed over his famous “Here We Will” to the deal recently, with the BBC reporting that medical care was scheduled for the £51 million Spanish International.

However, Zubimendi himself threw a spanner at work in a quote from this week, informing Radio Nacional that the medical claims are not actually true.

Arsenal is set to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad

After this message, after a similar denial of Arsenal’s advances from Sociedad’s President Jokin Aparribey, journalist Graeme Bailey shared a comforting update on the complicated sitting that has been confusing many supporters.

Talking to the bootroom, Bailey said that Arsenal to Arsenal Zubimendi is actually a “complete deal” – and the club is not worried about the surprise interview of the 26-year-old or the possibility of Real Madrid dipping.

“Arsenal knows the quote from Zvimendi, but from what I’m told, this transaction is considered to have been made at Emirates,” the reporter said.

“They didn’t worry. They knew these things could happen when Xabi Alonso was appointed.

“From what I’m told, this is happening. It’s a completed transaction. But obviously, fans want to see that photo he lifted up his shirt, signed it and sealed. Until that point, speculation continues.”

The “world-class” midfield engineer, the star mainstay of Sociedad, who helped Spain capture the glory of the Euro 2024 last year, has been his top goal since January, and has been speaking through the winter (email).

Losing Zubimendi at this stage would be a hammer blow for Arteta, especially considering that Thomas Parti and Yorginho have confirmed they have left.
