Bryson DeDanbaugh tipped for Eagle and Birdie on his way to the 5-under 66 at Liv Golf Virginia on Friday in Gainesville, Virginia.

DeChambeau shot the leaderboard after a small weather delay. I eagered the Par-5 14th and birded each of the next two halls at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

His tip on No. 14 was in a soft arrangement next to the slope, and his balls rolled from right to left into the cup. On the par 4 16th, he missed the green and cut off his third shot from a thick, rough, rough shot.

“What’s nice, man, is that it comes out in some soft states,” Deccanbeau said. “That little chip shot has become a lot easier for me. So I chipped exactly what I saw. I don’t know if you saw it, but I was studying it before I left it. I was studying it.

DeChambeau is tuned to defend the title at the US Open at the Oakmont Country Club next week. He is one of several LIV members who were invited to the USGA or in the old fashioned way to the third major.
