Leicester has yet to make any decisions about the future of Rood Van Nistelroy, but in the meantime they are considering moving forward when other managers return to the championship next season.

Van Nistellouis was expected to be fired after failing to keep Leicester in the Premier League, but for now he’s still on his job. But it has not stopped the process of looking at possible alternatives. One of them is Danny Roll.

However, there is no guarantee that Leicester will be able to kick Roll out of Sheffield on Wednesday, so a new name has now been added to the candidate list of admin candidates.

As reported by Graeme Bailey (via FootballFancast), Leicester is considering Sean Dish as an option to replace Van Nistellouis this summer. The 53-year-old could potentially arrive at King Power Stadium as he has lost his job since being fired by Everton last season.

Dyche is very different to the approach Enzo Maresca uses when Leicester was last in the championship. And this led to some resistance to the possibility of his appointment as the club’s next manager.

It may not be the most popular appointment, but dish will be a steady hand for Leicester. He manages 322 Premier League matches during his coaching career and has a lot of experience in the highest level of English football. He also has experience in promoting teams in the championships. That’s what he did in Burnley during the 2013-14 season.

It remains to be seen how Leicester’s situation plays out with Van Nistelroy, but if he goes, Dish looks like a strong candidate to replace him.
