Nuno Tavares may have just made a loan from Arsenal to Lazio’s permanent one, but it reportedly is moving again.
According to Alfredo Pedura, who writes for Radiali, Tavares is not sure he will keep him from Lazio, so he was able to make a quick exit from Lazio.
The 25-year-old started brightly with the Studio Olympico, but his form brushed a bit of tail at the end of the season.
Pedulla claims that Lazio has other targets in the full-back position, which could mean allowing Tavares to leave.
It is said that players from Turkish and Saudi Arabia clubs have returned to the Premier League at the former Arsenal left-back.
Nuno Tavares was able to leave Lazio this summer
Tavares looked like a bright outlook when he first caught his eye as a Benfica young man a few years ago when he first came to Arsenal.
However, the Portuguese defender has not developed as expected since then, and new Lazio manager Maurizio Sari appears to be unsure of him.
This is a big blow for Tavares as he finally seemed to settle after a few loan spells from Emirates Stadium.
Like Lazio, Tavares had mixed spells in Marseille. Another club ultimately decided not to keep him.
What’s next for Nuno Tavares?
It would be interesting to see what happens next in Tavares, but he certainly imagines that a decent English club would be enough to see him well.
Pedulla reports don’t specifically name anyone, but these details will probably come up soon.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina’s left back Fabiano Parisi has been mentioned as the target for Lazio to replace Tavares in that area of the team.
Kieran Tierney and Jorginho are one of the other big names leaving Arsenal this summer, but Raheem Sterling returned to Chelsea after his loan was over.
