Newcastle is looking at alternative winger options after missing out on Brian Mbemo, and the Premier League is still a market for choice. They have recently registered interest in Anthony Elanga, with another player on the forefront.

The right wing position is something Newcastle is eager to deal with as he hasn’t done so in recent years. It is important to sign the right players, and it could be West Ham’s Mohamed Kudus.

According to a football insider, transfer expert Pete O’Rourke revealed that Kudos is on Newcastle’s shortlist because of his right-wing position.

“He is definitely on the Newcastle list, and we’ve been talking about it for years now.

“I think it’s a big blow for Newcastle to miss Mbeumo because Eddie Howe made him the best target, but it appears that Mbeumo has chosen Old Trafford above St. James Park.

“And for me, Kudus may be naturally suited to Newcastle, because West Ham is honestly happy to move forward with Ghana International, and I think Kudus will move to the club.

“He couldn’t believe it in his first season at West Ham. I think he scored 14 goals from midfield. I think he obviously didn’t have a great season. For West Ham, the season was just there, but the team struggled as well.

It is still unclear which Kudus will be with by the end of the summer transfer period. At this stage, it is likely that they will travel from West Ham, and it appears Newcastle is taking part in the race. However, they are not the only ones, and Arsenal is believed to be enthusiastic too.
