Man City is competing against the clock to sign players before the Club World Cup, but it is passing through the door in just over 24 hours before the first summer transfer window closes.

Pep Guardiola’s side is one of their favorites to win the competition, and their chances will only increase if Rayan Ait Nouri, Tijani Rayjunders and Rayan Cherki can play in the US. All three have agreed to deals with their respective clubs over the past 48 hours, and these first clubs are currently confirmed.

On Monday, Man City announced the arrival of Rayan Ait-Nouri from fellow Premier League side wolves. The 24-year-old left back has signed a five-year contract and is reportedly in the area with fees of 40 million euros.

After signing his new contract, Ait-Nouri takes pride in joining Man City when he speaks on the club’s official website.

“I am extremely happy and honored to be part of Manchester City. City is one of the largest clubs in the world, and the chance to play for the club is a dream come true.”

“I am also excited to work with PEP and his coaching team to learn and train and play along with such a world-class player group, and I am also extremely proud of my family to join City.

Liverpool and Arsenal have both been interested in AIT-Nouri in recent months, but it is Man City who won the race for his signature. Given that he arrived before closing his first summer transfer period, he will join Guardiola’s team before taking off to the Club World Cup in the coming days.
