Interest is growing in Bournemouth winger Antoine Semeño, including Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Ghana International is currently the most strongly associated with the Spurs, and SkySports reports that it has done the most work in this potential deal.
However, Sky has also mentioned Liverpool and Man UTD as two clubs that have Semenyo on their target list this summer.
The report states that Cemenyo himself would prefer a club that plays in the Champions League, but he does not seem to have ruled out United entirely.
Still, it gives the advantage as Liverpool and Tottenham are offering Champions League football next season.
Transferring Antoine Semegno could cost a lot of money
Previous reports from Sky Sports suggest that Semenyo’s asking price could be £70 million, so it will be interesting to see who is willing to pay it.
Of course, players don’t always move for the asking price the club wants, but that’s a proper indication of what the suitor must approach.
The key factor is how much Semenyo pushes the movement, and it could depend on if a 25-year-old actually becomes a priority for the name mentioned.
For now, it seems we are still in some way from knowing these things with true certainty.
Antoine Semegno was able to strengthen the big 6 club
Semeño looks good enough to bolster most of the Big Six club after a great season at Bournemouth.
The former Bristol City youngster finished the 2024/25 season with 13 goals and five assists in total, playing an even game on both sides.
Cemenyo, a skilled dribbler, will be an upgrade for United’s Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.
Semenyo could possibly be an upgrade for Tottenham inconsistent offensive players like James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski.
Meanwhile, Liverpool already has depth in that area of the team, but Cemenyo may be an option to consider whether Luis Diaz will leave.
Diaz has recently been targeted by Barcelona, as reported by Athletics.
