The former UFC bantamweight champion experienced his first consecutive defeats, having lost the title to Dvalishvili at UFC 306 last September and then falling again in their rematch eight months later. Sterling also suggests that a fight against Song Yadong, another top striker ranked fifth, might be a lucrative and interesting next step for O’Malley.
