According to Marca, Loic Bade is reportedly open to leaving Sevilla this summer, months after turning down a move to Premier League side Aston Villa this summer.

Appearing as one of Laliga’s most promising defenders, the 25-year-old French International had previously opted to stay in Spain rather than switching to England for the mid-season.

Aston Villa showed strong interest in Bayde earlier this year, representing an offer the club is believed to be in the £20 million region.

The Midlands outfit has identified the former Nottingham Forest defender as the best defensive goal following the exit of Diego Carlos.

Loic Bade rejected a move to Aston Villa earlier this year

Despite solid interest and favorable suggestions, Bade chose to stay in Spain along with Sevilla.

He recently signed a long-term contract with Sevilla in September 2024, and has promised a future to the Andalucian club until 2029.

As a result of Bade’s refusal to leave, Villa shifted focus to other options and secured Axel Disaster service on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The French defender is open to exploring a transfer during the upcoming summer window.

Several European clubs have already attracted attention, and Bayer Leberkusen reportedly lined him up as a potential replacement for Jonathan Ta, who left the club to join Bayern Munich this summer.

The potential availability of Bayde can rekindle Aston Villa’s benefits, especially if the disaster does not stay permanently.

The windows ahead could offer Villas and other European clubs a second chance to land a talented defender as they rethink his future in La Liga.

The villa has also been wary of the availability of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho this summer.
