Robin Van Persy was a striker who could be very impressed with Manchester United and led the club to its final Premier League title in the 2012/13 campaign.
The Dutch left controversially and joined the Red Devils in a £24 million deal, leaving rival Arsenal behind.
He registered 30 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions, 26 of which appeared in the league and subsequently won the Golden Boots Award in the category.
Van Persy’s talent with the Red Devils is visible to everyone as current boss Reuben Amorim may want him to have his own version of Talisman today.
However, the 40-year-old was able to land it this summer, and the manager has already laid the foundation for potential additional things within the last third.
The latest on United Hunt for new additions from United this summer
With Rasmus Hojlund being promoted in a move away from United this summer, it’s no surprise to see the various names associated with the summer moves that join Amorim’s men.
Moise Keene, Hugo Ekitique, Benjamin Sesco and others are all mentioned as potential additions, as hierarchies appear to add a new dimension to their attacks.
However, according to Givemesport, the Juventus Talisman has entered the mix in the form of Dušan Vlahović, set to leave the Italian club this summer.
They claim United will be offered the opportunity to land on Serbia International at a rate in the £20 million region this summer, with attackers demanding £200,000 per week.
He also said he is extremely keen on the 25-year-old transition to the Premier League.
Why Vlahovic could be the perfect gyoker alternative for United
Viktor Gyokeres is another striker who has been highly promoted in the move to join United this summer.
The Swedes have also been the subject of great interest from Arsenal, with the pair fighting for his signature ahead of the window reopening next week.
However, the Red Devils hierarchy is likely to cost quite a bit, with SportsCP split into this 27-year-old window asking for fees in the £700 million region.
Such fees could be the main goal for travelling to Vlahovich, as they provide an inexpensive alternative that can follow in Vampercy’s footsteps.
The Serb, labelled “incredible” by Statman Dave, owns a similar skill set and attacks his stronger left foot.
He was also able to offer cheaper and more effective options than Gyoker, and despite the differences in fees, he was able to create some impressive numbers in many important areas.
Vlahovic has registered 1.5 shots with targets per 90 in this campaign, showing the accuracy he has when he is in front of the goal within the last third.

He also managed to score 48% in the air he fought, but registered 6.7 touches to the opposition box per 90.
£20 million is a bargain in today’s market, especially for talent like the 25-year-old, and could potentially earn potential benefits over the next few years.
Gyoker may be the first choice for many supporters, but Vlahovic’s move should not be seen in the past.
