Napoli is interested in signing more attacking players this summer as they target Darwin Nunes, Federico Chiesa and Rasmus Hojlund after completing their contract with Kevin de Bruin.
It is according to Alfredo Pedura, an experienced Italian journalist in his exclusive latest edition Catch off side column.
Pedura claims that Naples first saw Chiesa a year ago and that many winger targets are in sight this summer.
Importantly, Italian International’s short spell at Liverpool appears to be expected to end this summer as he barely played in his singles season at Anfield.
Napoli is also looking at new strikers, so Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund could also raid Darwin Nunes’ LFC while he was on the radar.
Alfredo Pedura on Naples’ top transfer targets
Discussing what Napoli could do in the transfer market this summer, Pedura said: “There was no doubt about Kevin de Bruin joining Napoli. The documents are complete and the two parties are completing the bureaucratic stage.
“There’s also movement in the wings. A year ago, Conte was interested in Federico Chiesa on the way out of Juventus, but there were no negotiations at the time.
“After a little bit of a season of playing at Liverpool, Chiesa is thinking of an English adventure. Napoli is looking for two wingers. Dan Nadoy will top their list.
He added: “Naples are actively looking for strikers. More than a month ago, they reported their strong interest to Darwin Nunes, who is planning to leave Liverpool. For now, the striker has turned down an offer from the Saudi club.
“In addition to Nunes, Napoli also continues to Lorenzo Lucca, which has attracted interest from several Serie A clubs, and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hoyland, who is also on Inter’s radar.”
