Arsenal hopes to be signed by two new attackers this summer, but it is suspected that one of them will arrive.

It’s no secret that Arsenal wants to sign a new striker, but there are also plans to bring in the winger on the left. And in recent weeks, it has been established that their best goal in that position is the Rodrygo Goes Goes of Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old is reportedly a strong candidate to leave Real Madrid, but the new report now says the opposite. This is a big blow to Arsenal.

Talking to football insiders, transfer expert Pete O’Rourke revealed that Rodrigo is not expected to leave Real Madrid during his second summer transfer.

“There was a lot of speculation surrounding Rodrigo. He was dissatisfied with the lack of playing time under Carlo Ancelotti last season, but he now appears to be happy with Real Madrid.

“We’ve had a connection with Arsenal, but when things stand, the players are happy to stay in Madrid. He wants to stay and fight for his position on the team next season. If he leaves Real Madrid, he’ll also make difficult proposals for some clubs.

Rodrigo would have been the ideal signature for Arsenal. So if he’s staying in Real Madrid, that’s a blow to them. It also means that new targets will need to be created prior to opening the second summer transfer window.
