Tottenham Hotspur stolen the march between rivals Liverpool and Chelsea in pursuit of Italian genius Niccolo Pisilli.
According to Sebastien Vidal, they agreed on a deal from As Roma to sign the 20-year-old midfielder, which could close the move after the Club World Cup.
Liverpool & Chelsea Keene
Pisilli has done very well in Italy in the under-21 Championship in Europe, and Tottenham is tracking his progress. Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring his development, according to TeamTalk.
It will be interesting to see if the move from the Spurs encourages the other two clubs to enhance their players’ pursuits.
Pisilli will be a great long-term acquisition for all three clubs. He could potentially develop into a quality Premier League midfielder with proper guidance. He has already established himself as Roma’s first team player, scoring three goals last season.
The opportunity to join clubs such as Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea is extremely exciting for him. All three clubs have a proven track record in developing young players.

Spurs can use Nikkoro Pisilli
The Spurs need more midfield depth and they’re investing in talented young players like Lucas Bergval in the window these days. They are expected to replace the likes of Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur in the future, and people like Pissili would be ideal. He helps them control the tempo of the game and adds technical capabilities to the sides as well.
It would be interesting to see where the players are. Anyone who ends up signing him for a reasonable amount can get a big bargain for the future.
