Tottenham is making a determined effort to reunite Thomas Frank with one of his most trusted former players, Christian Norgaard.

Sources with close links to the agent industry are Catch off side That Frank has identified the midfielder as a priority target to secure the sides of his new look.

The midfielder flourishes under the leadership of Brentford’s Frank, and the new Spurs manager is ready to make him part of his team again.

Norgaard, 31, made 35 appearances for Brentford last season. He scored six goals and provided four assists.

Tottenham wants to reunite Frank and Norgaard.

The defensive midfielder is known for his tactical discipline, leadership qualities and exceptional understanding of Frank’s system.

It’s no surprise that the Spurs believe they can play a central role in the club’s new era.

But despite Tottenham’s growing interest, Brentford has so far refused to entertain the potential for sales.

The bees made it clear that Norgaard thinks he is out of hand, given that he will continue to make his team important on and off the pitch.

The North London Club is preparing bids in areas ranging from £107 million to £20 million, but it could still fall short of Brentford’s internal valuation.

Club insiders believe Brentford can deliberately inflate the price of a no-guard to drive away suitors and drive Tottenham to rethink.

Tottenham’s interest in Norgaard is also part of their plans to reshuffle their midfield, with Yves Bizma set to leave this summer.

It’s not just the Spurs that have a club circling. AFC Bournemouth, Fulham and Everton are also monitoring the situation and may make their own efforts to seduce the Danish international from West London.

For now, Tottenham’s pursuit of Norgard has stagnated, but it could all change in the coming weeks.

The Spurs are also approaching a permanent signing of Matisse Tel from Bayern Munich this summer.
