Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer.
The talented young midfielder struggles with regular game times at Liverpool and started only five games for them last season. He needed more opportunities at this stage of his career and he was urged to take on new challenges.
Elliot urged him to leave the red.
Tony Cascarino revealed on Talksport that he might be better off leaving. The 22-year-old needs to play regularly to meet his potential, and there’s no doubt that he’ll get more opportunities at another club.
He said this on his weekend sports breakfast:
Meanwhile, Stuart Pierce has urged players to join West Ham United.
Multiple clubs can use Harvey Elliott
Liverpool attackers could be the ideal acquisition for multiple Premier League clubs. He can be slotted into mid-part roles not just in the flank but also in the central attack.
He adds goals and creativity to the aspects. Elliott has so far had 15 goals and 20 assists in his name for Liverpool. His numbers can improve when he plays regularly.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool is ready to move him ahead. He is a very useful player for them, and his departure will weaken them. The decision may ultimately come down to the player. Sitting on the bench of a big club is unlikely to benefit him. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to leave the Premier League champion this summer.
