If Leeds United wins this versatile young man, Daniel Fark is about to buy the next Archie Gray.
German International will join Yorkshire on its first two-year contract and will arrive on July 1st once the contract ends in Wolfsberg. Nmecha has developed at the academy in Manchester City and is already known for British football, casting spells in Preston and Middlesbrough.
I’m used to the Leds media team: “It’s just a big challenge and I’m really excited to get to know the team.VE has spoken with managers many times, and even in the Premier League, he is excited to play the style of football he played in the championship. Last season, we found out that we had control in terms of ownership and goals. I’m an offensive player so obviously it’s exciting for me.
“Of course, in the Premier League, there are big boys out there who can’t play that way, but the idea for the manager is to play good football, play football, that’s what I’m used to, and what I like.
“I wish I could move on right now, but I’m still in the season a few weeks ago. I’ll try running! But I can’t wait to start training now.”
Leeds said it would cost £10 million to sign the Champions League midfielder.
With Nmecha officially passing through the door, the 49ers have turned their attention to Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff, and according to football insiders, the suitors are said to accept a bid of just £10 million this summer.
It was reported in May that Leeds was planning a double dive for Callum Wilson and Longstaff, who are making £50,000 a week in Newcastle.
Entering the final year of his contract at St. James Park, the update claims that his future is “undetectedly” away from Tyneside.
Daniel Fark is keen to add the Premier League experience to the midfield this summer, but David Moe’s Everton is also keen on the midfielder, so there’s no free runs in Longstaff.
Longstaff, who has been called “incredible” in the past by Alan Shearer, has Champions League experience and qualified for the European Elite Competition this season, has made five appearances in the final European quest, scoring in a 4-1 defeat for current champion PSG.
