Leeds United are interested in improving their attack forces with the signature of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

According to a TeamTalk report, they are ready to spend up to £35 million on Brazilians. They previously paid the same amount to Georginio Rutter. Muniz could be the record of clubs signing for them if the move passes. The report claims Fulham is holding off at a £50 million fee.

The Brazilian striker has been linked to Chelsea and Tottenham in the past. Meanwhile, there were rumours that he dreamed of a move towards Manchester United.

Leeds can use Rodrigo Muniz

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can finalize an agreement in the coming weeks. It’s no secret that Leeds need to improve their team. They have secured promotion to the Premier League and are looking to stay there for the upcoming season.

They wouldn’t want to return to the championship at the end of next season. They need quality players to survive on top flights.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Brazilian has done very well for Fulham, scoring 11 times last season. He could improve with coaching and experience. He could be a key player for Leeds next season.

Newly promoted parties are expected to have substantial relocation budgets, and they will try to improve multiple areas of their team. They wouldn’t want to overpay for the striker. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

The Brazilian is doing pretty well for Fulham and he has no reason to leave. It remains to be seen whether Leeds can convince him to join the club. Fulham certainly has the potential to survive in the Premier League compared to Leeds, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
