Jack Draper reached the semi-finals with Queens for the first time in his career after beating US Brandon Nakashima 4-6, 7-5, 4-6.
This victory means that Draper will be ranked fourth in the world rankings and have the top four seed at Wimbledon.
“The support I received this week was amazing. I’m used to fighting on the grass, but being in the semi-finals is something I’ve wanted since I was a kid.
“I don’t think I’ve played some great tennis at times. At that moment, I was just trying to believe in myself and that’s where I think it was where I found confidence.”
The UK’s first will face Giri Lehecca in tomorrow’s Semfinal.
Jacob Fianley knocked out in the quarter-finals
British No. 2 Jacob Fianley was knocked out of Queens Club after a 7-5, 6-2 drop by Czech Lehecca on Thursday.
Fearnley began well under the sun in western London before he struggled with serves in a series of double fault-fall performances, including six of the games in which Lehecka defeated his serve.
After returning from 3-1 in the first set, Lehekka grew into a match, with another double break winning the 100th ATP Tour, securing the semi-final against Draper and continuing momentum into the second set.
