Slovenia International wants something normal.
It has been five years since Arteta lifted his first major honor. It came at the end of his first season in charge of the gunners. Since then, their trophy cabinets have remained barren despite their many approaching Community Shields from winning.

Man City tightened Arsenal in their title races, 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. But it was close, but no cigars, and Arsenal meekly abandoned the latest Premier League crown to Liverpool with 10 points in the earthquake.
After many seasons steadily built projects, Arteta undoubtedly transformed the gunner into an elite level aspect. This was evident in the Champions League, which featured 15 European Champions Real Madrid in the Champions League last season on the sword.
Progress is clear, but Arteta has still been attacked over the last few years due to the lack of Arsenal’s trophy.
New sports director Andrea Berta is tasked with helping the Spaniards this summer. Arsenal will sign both midfielder Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper Kepa Arizabaraga (Times).
However, their lack of prolific strikers is considered the main elephant in the room. As Berta is working on deals for both sports CP striker Viktor Gyoker and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco, he is most keen to strengthen his supporters.
Viktor Gyoker is convinced he will be joining Arsenal
The former is at the heart of a tense transfer saga, with Gyoker publicly denies claiming that £60 million and its president Frederico Varandas is targeting players’ agents.
The “underrated” striker’s 54 goal hauling in all competitions last season helped the Primira Li Ga Giants lift their first domestic double in 20 years.
Arsenal owns a trump card. That is a credible report that Gyoker is prioritizing switching to Emirates Stadium (Fabrizio Romano).
Well, according to Talksport’s Alex Crook, Gyoker is clearly certain he will be joining Arsenal, making this clear even in his close circle.
“About 24 hours ago, I got a message suggesting that Viktor Gyoker had said to friends and family who were hoping to join Arsenal,” Crook said at Talksport’s breakfast earlier this week.
“I know Manchester United is also interested in signing him as well, and obviously there is an existing relationship with Reuben Amorim.
“However, Arsenal could provide Champions League football and maybe they could provide tilt in the title next season. The sport would play hardball. His agents suggest that he has a gentleman’s contract that can leave for £60 million, so there was a fallout between the clubs.
“Arsenal is juggling both him and Benjamin Sesco. They’ve also held talks with Leipzig, but at this point I think Gjoker is more likely.”
At this point, players’ will be clear about motivation, but the demands of sports remain a major obstacle, so it will be very interesting to see how this will unfold as the story will unfold over the coming weeks.
