With the release of Premier League fixtures, the countdown to the new season is officially on.
Of all 20 clubs, few have been given the campaign a more clever start than Arsenal, which will start a new season with Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 17th.
They will then also face Liverpool in Anfield, home of Manchester City and Newcastle in St James Park.
Arsenal is targeting new midfielders
The gunners will need to add an offense this summer, but they haven’t ignored the midfield either as Martin Zubimendi is ready to be announced as a new signature from Real Sociedad.
The Spaniard was in London for a week to complete the switch to the Premier League side. He was able to join the British capital by another midfielder.
According to a TBR Football report, Arsenal has “examined” Paris Saint-Germain.
They cited Thierry Henry, who managed the French youth team and the 19-year-old, claiming that the “epic” midfielder “the sky is at its limit,” adding, “I’ve never seen that young player.”
French International, who joined PSG as an eight-year-old, made his senior debut against Clermontfoot in August 2022, has made his previous Leugetobu appearances 124 times, and has recently begun a Club World Cup defeat at the Rose Bowl on Thursday night.
However, this was unusual considering Vitina, Joan Neves and Fabian Lewis were Luis Enrique’s first-choice trio. These three were played in nine Champions League knockout phase fixtures and the opening match of the Club World Cup against Atletico Madrid last Sunday.
So, will teenagers be seduced to trade Paris in north London in search of more regular game time?
Arsenal midfielder updates
As reported earlier this week by David Ornstein and James MacNicolas, Martin Zubimendi traveled to London and to “complete the proceedings” before joining Arsenal, Gunner paid a genuine Sociedad release clause of £51.7 million.
Meanwhile, it’s just over a week before Thomas Partey’s contract expires, and ESPN’s Matteo Moretto claims Ghanian International is “expected to leave” this summer.
Partey launched 45 games last season in all competitions, including 31 Premier League matches and 11 Champions League matches, highlighting that he is a vital figure that needs to be exchanged.
Given that Jorginho is already on Flamengo and has performed well at the Club World Cup, Zubimendi’s arrival is not enough.
Now let’s evaluate the comparison between young French people and part-timers.

As the table outlines, Zaïre-Emery will be at the top of almost every metric, pass, ball recovery and duel included every 90.
Athletics Jacob Whitehead and Peter Ratzler described teenagers as “promising prospects” and praised them for their “ability to survive physically” at such a young age.
Meanwhile, Beth’s limbs in full football analysis outline the best Zaïre-Emery when deployed “to the right side of the two midfield,” and always presents an outrageous “calmness.”
Therefore, if Zaïre-Emery gets upset by a move from European champion PSG this summer, Arsenal should do everything he can to ensure they are the right goal.
