Thomas Frank has done a big job of his hands next season to change the situation for Tottenham Hotspur after the club’s shape on England’s top flight.

The Lily White finished the season in 17th place in the Premier League last time, losing 22 times in the process. He then led to the subsequent firing of Ange Postecoglou in north London.

However, the side’s Europa League victory over Manchester United in Bilbao is evidence of the level they can reach and should use such a achievement as a springboard until 2025/26.

Frank needs to be supported by the hierarchy in his quest, and make important changes to his team, who hopes to push them back to the top five finishes in the near future.

Dane hopes he will do so again across the capital as he can thrive in the Premier League at Brentford and will not waste time moving in the market.

Latest on Spurs Hunting for New Attackers this Summer

The Wingers have been on the list for the past few weeks, and Spurs has been strongly linked to Bryan Mbeumo’s move to land, securing returns between players and managers.

However, he appears to be set up in this window to move to Manchester United, with West Ham United star Mohamed Kudus also emerging as a potential option.

The aforementioned duo is on the radar, but according to the Spanish outlet, it appears that progress has been made in the contract to land Antoine Semeño of Bournemouth.

Their reports say Frank’s side is planning to place a £65 million bid to land the 25-year-old window after 11 goals and five assists in the campaign.

We also confirm that Cherry is not ready to lose another one of the star players, but we are sure Lily White can secure a signing move for this window.

Why will Semeño be Frank’s next Solanke?

Striker Dominique Solanke signed a £65 million contract from the same club last summer and was considered the heir to Harry Kane after leaving 12 months ago.

The 27-year-old has scored 16 points in 45 appearances in all competitions, with five efforts coming in Europe, with the side waiting for a 17-year trophy.

Like many players on the current first team team, he has his own injuries issues and limits him to having the first year of his dreams in North London.

However, he still managed to show off his talent in the final third, finishing the year as the club’s second highest scorer in the 2024/25 division.

Frank could be about to land this window in the next version of Solanke, and Semeño attempted to follow in his footsteps and move to the Spurs to rekindle their impressive partnership.

The advertised fees appear to be expensive, but Ghanaian International has introduced his skill set this season, adding a new dimension to Frank’s forward line if he completes the move.

Labeled “Incredible” by journalist Owuraku Ampofo, Semenyo has 16 registered combinations of 16 goals and assists.

His underlying statistics are just as impressive, registering 1.2 shots on targets per 90 and a successful 1.9 dribbling highlights the threat posed in the attacking area.

The 25-year-old created a chance of 1.3 per 90, but has the tools to get 5.9 touches in the opposition box per 90 and provide players around him in North London.

If he can transfer his skill set for next season to Lily White, it would be a great £65 million deal and could improve even further with even more quality players around him on Frank’s side.

Such a transfer can provide the added cutting edge you need for success and can pass the manager the best chance to impress the first year of the helm.
