Newcastle prepared to provide 13 g/stars to Nottingham Forest

Newcastle is hoping to sign Anthony Elanga, but they are currently not ready to meet the asking price set by Nottingham Forest. Thus, they are ready to provide players as part of the transaction to pay the reduction fee.

Newcastle gave Elanga the primary target for his right-wing position after giving up Brian Mbeumo, who will join Man United or Tottenham. The 23-year-old, who registered six goals and 12 assists last season, is well-liked among the people at St. James Park and the move will soon be made.

And when that time comes, Newcastle could potentially make a Player Plus Cash Offer to the Forest.

As reported by TeamTalk (via Nottinghamforest.News), Newcastle can include Harvey Barnes in Elanga’s deal. The former Leicester winger was a key player for Eddie Howe last season, earning nine goals and four assists in the start of the Premier League, but he is now able to move.

Burns is not the usual Newcastle starter, and Anthony Gordon is the preferred option on the left. However, he still proves himself to be a great team option for the Carabao Cup winner with many important contributions in his two years in the Northeast.

It is worth noting that Elanga can also play on the left field. So if you stay at the club with the former Man United guy, you can reduce Burns’ involvement. But even so, it may not be so wise for Newcastle to sell him, given the important contributions he has made since making the move in 2023. But for the forest, he will certainly be a great addition.
