Kylian Mbappe is one of the best footballers in the world today, but he has revealed that it is a basketball superstar who once admires his position in and out of the game.

Mbappe, who currently stars Real Madrid at the FIFA Club World Cup, is widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation, winning the FIFA World Cup in France in 2018.

Following a hat-trick in the 2022 final, when France lost a penalty to Argentina, Lionel Messi was praised with Mbappe.

The Real Madrid superstar scored 50 goals for his country. That means he only needs eight more goals to become the greatest scorer in his country at just 26 years old.

Mbappe has previously refused to choose “the biggest ever” when it comes to football, and while he believes both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the best, he hasn’t been that diplomatic when it comes to picking his favorite NBA stars.

Known as a big basketball fan, previously attending the NBA Draft Night and even signing a league and media partnership, Mbappe became friends with San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wenbañara and regularly found courtside in big games.

Mbappe named LeBron James “Goat.”

Speaking on his own Instagram page after LeBron James broke the NBA score record of all time, Mbappe called the Los Angeles Lakers moving forward with “The Greatest,” and he previously revealed that he had ridiculed his actions on and off the court for his actions.

“His career is much more advanced than my career, and he has non-sports projects that have secured his legendary status. When he can seek advice from such an emotional personality, he will be given the opportunity to coordinate the project accordingly and create his own, as much impact as possible, for the younger generation today.”

James is a four-time NBA champion and four-time NBA MVP. Meanwhile, he leads the record for the highest ever in most points and sits in the top 10 in both assists and steel, but his 4-6 final record opens the door for debate.

Michael Jordan won six titles and boasted a huge 6-0 final record, was named the Final MVP in all six times and five regular season MVP awards.

Stephen a Smith of ESPN believes Jordan’s peak outweighs him the others.

“No one means long (like LeBron); it means longevity.

Mbappe’s verdict symbolizes the generational disparity that often defines arguments, but James still has the opportunity to extend his legacy by leaving another year behind in his contract with the Lakers.
