Almost immediately after Zubimendi, goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga traveled to the British capital to complete his own Arsenal move that came after Berta caused a £5 million release clause on his Chelsea contract.

The Spanish duo was quickly tracked down on their journey to the N5 by Brentford’s Captain Christian Norgaard, and Arsenal agreed to £5 million (Ben Jacobs) that in addition to the initial £10 million deal, it could potentially sign Denmark International as a replacement for Thomas Party.

Norgado is permitted to receive medical care at Arsenal (Fabrizio Romano), but recent reports suggest that Berta may soon add yet another player to his list of new recent additions.

Arsenal “sign” by Christian Mosquera of Valencia

On Thursday afternoon, news came out that Arsenal had begun talks with Valencia over multi-purpose centre-back Christian Mosquera.

The 21-year-old was able to play both at right back and at the heart of Arteta’s defense. Gunners agree to a potential £17 million deal and get the grab at a cheap price considering Mosquera is about to enter the final 12 months of the contract.

The news was originally shared by X account “Handofarsenal,” but trustworthy media sources report that Arsenal is in pole position to sign the Spaniard ahead of RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

Now journalist Graham Bailey writes in his TBR Football work, but shares more updates on the story.

Bailey reports that Arsenal “signs” and “signs” Mosquera, and that after “positive” negotiations, the speech reached advanced stage but could spell out the end of backup defender Jakubu Kiwior.

The latter was impressed with William Saliba, who was injured in Gabriel Magalges last season, but the possibility of Mosquera’s arrival is set to “inform him of his departure” for Kiwior, as he prioritizes his return to Serie A.

Kiwiol, who has been called “sensational talent” by media members, appears to be preparing to leave the Emirates as a result of this move by Mosquera, with Givemesport reporting that personal terminology has already been agreed.

Mosquera will initially serve as a backup option, but Arsenal is said to believe that the defender has serious potential to become a first-team regular in the coming years.
