Glasgow Rangers head coach Russell Martin is concerned about the future of his key players during the summer transfer period.

With the windows closed at the beginning of September, it remains to be seen whether there are still some like Nicholas Ruskin, Hamza Igamane, Mohamed Diomande and Siriel Deserz at Ibrox.

Daily records show the Rangers are currently waiting to present an appealing offer that is attractive enough to accommodate the French club.

The report claims that Reel is preparing the first offer up to £15 million to sign GERS, but it is unclear whether that will be enough for the Ranger to cash him out.

League One is expected to pursue forward in the coming days, adding that it has already agreed on personal terms with the player representative.

This latest report shows that there is a real interest in the sense of 22 years old. This means he has a real chance next season not to become a Rangers player.

Why selling Igamane is a huge blow to the ranger?

Losing Igaman before the end of the summer transfer period would be a major blow to Martin due to the quality he can provide in the final third.

After taking part in the summer of 2024, the versatile light blues forward enjoyed a great first season in Glasgow, becoming a reliable offensive threat to the Ibrox giants.

Igamane played big through the left and middle as a centre forward, finishing the campaign with a return of 16 goals in 43 appearances in all club competitions.

The right-footed magician proved his worth by scoring 12 goals in the Scottish Premiership, a combination of Philip Clement and Barry Ferguson, and scoring big goals for the team.

As you can see from the table above, Igamane’s quality in front of goal rescued GERS from four losses in the league, especially in matches with Motherwell and Hibernian.

The striker also produced a great finish to secure a Light Blues victory at Parkhead in March.

So Igamane is clearly a key player for the Ranger. That’s why if he joins the reel, they have to ensure they line up great alternatives. That’s what they seem to have.

Rangers working on a new striker contract

According to Daily’s records in charge of reporting from Israel, the Scottish giant will be on the market to sign a new striker if they win cash to Igamane or Deserz before the end of the summer transfer period.

The report claims GERS is “working” on a contract to sign Maccabi Tel Aviv’s centre-forward forward Turgeman to enhance options at the top of the pitch.

The 21-year-old attacker adds that he is interested in moving to Ibrox this summer.

The outlet also makes clear that a fee of £5 million will be required to seal off the Israel International deal, which can arrive in Glasgow as an alternative to Igamane’s dream.

Why is Targetman a replacement for Igamane’s dream?

It’s a shame to see Moroccan International travel from Ibrox this summer, but the Rangers were able to find themselves in a good place with positive options when they signed the Targetman to replace the current star.

Like Igamane, Maccabi Tel Aviv Starlet is a young centre forward who can also play on the left flank, and could improve with more experience on the pitch.

So Turgeman could be a great long-term signature for Gers as a player with room to grow his value, potentially making future profits with the £5 million that he might pay him this summer.

But the £5 million rated striker also has a quality that will immediately affect the Rangers if he can translate Maccabi Tel Aviv’s performance into Scottish football.

Tageman finished the campaign with 20 goals and six assists in 44 appearances in all the club’s tournaments, including one goal and one assist in the Europa League.

In particular, he was in his form in the Israeli Premier League, but could be attracting the attention of the Rangers.

As you can see in the table above, Turgeman has created 15 goals and 10 “big opportunities” with 31 outings in the division.

Celebrated in the box by analyst Kai Watson, Israel International has shown that he can regularly find the back of the net, while being able to create high-quality opportunities for his teammates, as did Moroccan Wiz for GERS last season.

The stats for Turgeman and Igamane in the 2024/25 campaign suggest that there are many similarities in the types of quality they can offer in the final third, but they are both versatile attackers who can play on the centre or left.

So, while it could potentially pocket Igamane over £15 million, signing Macavitel Avivstar for a £5 million fee could be a great business for the Scottish Giants ahead of next season.
