Arsenal has shown serious ambitions this summer, with sports director Andrea Berta having worked extensively to sign potential marquees, so there is no indication that it will soon be mitigated anytime soon.

Much has been done as the club pursued new offensive options after recently agreeing to a deal with goalkeeper Kepa Alizabaraga, midfielder Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper Kepa Alizabaraga with Premier League stubborn Christian Norgaard.

Berta has been in ongoing consultations, similar to Valencia defender Christian Mosquera, and the versatile 21-year-old has been able to replace Takehiro Tomiyas, who is now officially terminating his Arsenal contract.

But critics want to see the gunners move further.

Arsenal is seriously interested in signing Ebebeki Eze from Crystal Palace as Berta is looking for two new wingers.

Interestingly, Maduke is not the top target on the right.

The man is instead Real Madrid star Rodrigo. He is believed to be the signature of Arsenal’s “dream.”

Reports suggest that Arsenal could move to sign Eze and Rodrigo if they were given encouragement to leave the Bernabéu (Givemesport), and journalist Graeme Bailey shares a very promising update on the situation.

Speaking to TBR Football, Berta personally has “constant contact” with Rodrigo’s camp after identifying the 24-year-old as an important target, according to the reporter.

TBR said the cost of his transaction ranges from around £7,000 to £75 million, which is considered a “acceptable” price by Arsenal, who appears to be ready to pay those numbers.

Berta is also aware of Rodrigo’s plan to actually let him know that he wants to leave. When you return from the Club World Cup campaign, check with Xabi Alonso’s side.

“Andrea Berta is said to have made Rodrigo one of his top targets a few months ago. He recognized the situation that was showing up around him very early on,” Bailey said.

“Rodrigo’s team has been engaged with him. This isn’t a blind pursuit between Berta and Arsenal, he’s done a lot of work on him. He’s not the only target, but it’s been increasing every month since Berta first contacted him.”

Rodrigo will be Bertha’s signature statement after an outstanding campaign in 2024/2025. The “Superstar” has scored 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, including his numbers at the CWC, and appears to be eager to play on the left side, as opposed to Madrid’s (ESPN) right side.

Given that Leandro Trossard has entered the final year of his contract, this is a seriously suited move for all involved, not to mention Gabriel Martinelli’s uncertain long-term future.
