Chase Claypool, who missed the entire 2024 football season, has announced he is fully recovered and eager to restart his career in 2025. The former Pittsburgh Steelers’ second-round draft pick shared on Instagram that he is now the “strongest and fastest” he has ever been, dedicating his time to daily rehabilitation and workouts after injuring ligaments and tendons in his second toe during training camp.

Turning 27 in July, Claypool expressed deep faith in his recovery process and gratitude toward the Buffalo Bills, the team he joined as a free agent after two years. He reflected on his time with Buffalo positively, highlighting his peak physical condition and readiness while appreciating the support from his teammates during camp.

Claypool was the 49th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and tied the Steelers franchise rookie touchdown record with 11 scores, contributing to Pittsburgh’s AFC North title that year. However, his performance declined over the next two seasons, leading to his trade to the Chicago Bears in 2022 and then to the Miami Dolphins in 2023, where he caught just four passes in nine games.
