Viktor Gyoker is now definitely approaching to finalize his move to Arsenal. Gunners are confident in closing their contracts quickly.
My sources have long told me that Arsenal had established itself as a Gyoker favourite about 40-45 days ago.
Discussions are currently underway and my sources inform me that despite interest from other top clubs, a “quick solution” is expected.
Manchester United, now managed by Gyoker’s former sports manager Ruben Amorim, also tried to insert themselves into the deal, but it has long been clear that Arsenal is a player’s preference.
Juventus and AC Milan were also interested as previously reported, but it was never specific and they were never in a strong position.
Viktor Gyoker will be joining Arsenal via Manchester United
Gyoker will become the new striker signing Mikel Arteta despite his friendship and strong working relationship with Amorim.
Man Utd felt that Amorim’s presence could help bring Swedish striker to Old Trafford, but as reported here, his agent told Red Devils that he preferred the move to Emirates Stadium.
It is still unknown if United can sign instead, but there remains a clear gap as Amorim’s team is trying to offload offload the offensive player.
As previously reported, there is interest from Rasmus Hoilund’s Serie A who can leave Manchester at a reasonable price.
Viktor Gyokeres Player Profile

As discussed in Gyoker’s CatedOffside player profile, the 27-year-old is a very prolific scorer and should do important work for Arsenal.
In front of goal last season, Arteta’s side lacked a real predator as none of the current players reached double numbers due to league goals.
In contrast, Gyoker scored 39 goals in 33 league matches on Portugal’s top flight, but also provided seven assists.
