In the 33rd minute, Tadeo Allende, with assistance from Messi, equalized for Miami (9-3-5).
Telasco Segovia scored in the 60th minute, followed by Messi adding another two minutes later, showcasing his skill against Montreal’s defense. Messi now has 12 goals this season in just 14 MLS appearances.
Oscar Ustali made seven saves for Miami, particularly shining after Messi’s giveaway, which allowed Montreal to score a simple goal.
With this latest victory, Miami (8-3-5) has achieved a winning streak of two matches, maintaining an unbeaten run with three consecutive wins since their home defeat on May 28th.
