The Glasgow Rangers reportedly have turned their eyes to bring yet another EFL player to Ibrox after agreeing to a deal from Sheffield on Wednesday to sign Djeidi Gassama.
Ranger agrees to Ibrox’s deal to sign Gassama
The EFL is as far as the Rangers and Russell Martin are concerned about this summer. GERS has reportedly welcomed Thelo Aasgaard and Emmanuel Fernandez from the British Football League and has now agreed to a deal to sign Gassama. Meanwhile, they also welcomed two reinforcements from the Premier League in the form of Joe Rothwell and Max Aaron, closing off a considerable shopping trip in British football.
Like Aasgaard and Fernandez, Gassama represents a solid business with everyone involved in Rangers, and it clearly falls under the category of players Martin is eager to sign this summer.
The former Southampton manager recently had his say on the possibility of arriving and told reporters: “What we think will be entering the building in next week or two weeks is that we are very pleased with them, so we still need some help.
“We can’t be in a hurry to get things we’re not very sure. If we put them in, it’s a lot of effort, a lot of due diligence and make sure they’re the right one.”

The Guards haven’t ruined this summer…
Alas, even after Gassama, the people of Ibrox may not end in summer business. The report now suggests that the 49ers company can return to the EFL again and sign another talented player before next season.
Rangers move to sign Abu Kamala
According to Sky Sports, Rangers are keeping an eye on the move to sign Abkamala from Hull City this summer. The winger will be available at cut prices amid the Tigers’ ongoing financial issues, making the most of GERS.
After scoring six goals in all previous competitions and supporting four more competitions, Kamala is another player to watch. By joining Scottish Gasama, the 21-year-old winger passes two fresh options and two young stars still full of possibilities within his front line.

Kamala was impressed everywhere he has introduced him. Former teammate Connor Shaughnessy told reporters when asked about his winger last season. “Abu was great for us, a really good player, talented, developed into the season and became stronger and stronger as he continued for us.
“Obviously he got a good move from the back. Hal had a tough season, but it’s good to see him on Saturday. I’m sure he’ll be in danger on the right for them.”
