Aryna Sabalenka completed a fierce comeback with Laura Siegemund, avoiding elimination and progressed to the Wimbledon semi-finals. On Tuesday morning, the pair met at Center Court. Siegemund searched for another upset victory after eliminating the Madison Keys in the third round.
After dropping the first set, 6-4, No. 1 rank Sabalenka is back to win the next two sets and the match. Sabalenka decisively scored the second frame 6-2 before the thrilling third set.

Sabalenka tied the set 3-3 after a 3-1 drop before the pair went back and forth to determine the winner. Siegemund went 4-3, but quickly disappeared by Sabalenka.
Siegemund won against Peyton Stearns, Leylah Fernandez and Keys before finishing the competition.
The Belarusian didn’t drop the set until they met Siegemund in the tournament. Sabalenka recorded victory over Carson Bransteen, Marie Buzkova, Emma Raducanu and Elise Mertens in the first four rounds.
Sabalenka will face No. 13 Amanda Anishimoba in the semi-finals on Thursday.

Sabalenka is looking to secure her 21st career single title and her first career single title at Wimbledon. The three Grand Slam winner has not won since the Madrid Open in May.
Since then, Sabalenka has lost in the Italian quarterfinals held to Italy’s Zheng Qinwen, dropping Roland Garos’ final to Coco Gouf and Berlin’s semi-finals to Marita vondrousova.
The world’s No. 1 final Grand Slam victory took place at the 2024 US Open, where she defeated Jessica Pegra for the title.
