Chelsea won the 2025 Club World Cup, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final.

The Premier League side, considered a massive underdog in the showpiece event, won the match in the first half. Cole Palmer (X2) and Joao Pedro scored in 21 minutes at MetLife Stadium.

The results concluded a great season for Chelsea, where Enzo Maresca was the first manager. The Champions League qualifiers were secured after finishing fourth in the Premier League, and the Club World Cup was the second trophy after the UEFA Conference League.

Here is the Chelsea player rating from the US:

Robert Sanchez (9/10) – A massive performance from Sanchez, which has been under great pressure over the past few months. He saved the best display for the biggest stage and saved six times in the process.

Malo Rix (8/10) – Gusto was excellent at accommodating the dangerous left side of the PSG’s dangerous Nuno Mendes.

Trevoh Chalobah (8/10) – It’s hard to believe he started the season on loan. He was perfect alongside Levi Colwill as they helped to neutralize the offensive threat of PSG.

Levi Colwill (8/10) – Like Chalobah, Colwill’s excellent display received Chelsea’s second goal assist at MetLife Stadium.

Mark Kukulera (8/10) – Cucurella’s standard performance solidifies herself as one of the best left-backs in football around the world. Like Gusto on the other side, it will properly shut down Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue.

Reese James (7/10) – James gave everything for his beloved Chelsea, and his reward was lifting the Club World Cup trophy.

Moises Caiceceo (8/10) – Kayseko dominated Chelsea’s midfield and successfully made Vitanya, Joan Neves and Fabian Lewis better. Again, he is known in his position as one of the best in the world.

Enzo Fernandez (6/10) -Undoubtedly, his worst performance at the Club World Cup is not something he cares about. He did his part, even if his execution was not at his best.

Call Palmer (9/10) – Once again, he gets bigger in important matches. He finished with his two goals and completed the performance with a great assist in Joao Pedro’s goal just before halftime.

Pedro Neto – (8/10) – His off-ball work was outstanding and would please Maresca.

Joao Pedro (8/10) – He’s already signed for Chelsea, and he scored his third goal in two appearances since arriving from Brighton.
