Man United now has several signatures during the end of the summer transfer period, hoping for one of the areas they can deal with with Reuben Amorim’s defensive options. The Red Devils struggled to keep goals out last season, so it’s no surprise to see the quality of the game getting better.

Amorim’s 3-4-3 system also requires a ball-play central defender, so Man United is keen to ensure that players who fit this will target. And the experts in particular are now at the manager’s former club, Sports CP.

Man United has linked to many athletes over the past few months. This is not surprising given the links of Amorim. They are trying to officially miss Viktor Gyoker, but they can have better luck with one of his teammates.

According to Bola, Man United was interested in signing Goncalo Inacio and began researching to find possible terms of the transaction. The 23-year-old, who has 16 caps in Portugal, is expected to be available for a fee in the £43 million (Euro 50 million) region.

Also, Inacio, which has been linked to Liverpool and Liverpool for the past few weeks, will be ideal for Amorim’s system as the central defender on the left, which has been problematic due to poor form of Lisandro Martinez over the past six to 12 months. In this regard, he is the person Man United should be trying to sign, but any deal is likely to depend on the player who leaves Old Trafford first.

Man United is trying to agree to a deal with Brian Mbeumo’s Brentford, but once it’s confirmed as expected, they can start making Incio’s serious moves. Considering his age and performance level, £43 million is worth the money.
