Leeds wants to strengthen their teams enough to have a team that can avoid relegation from the Premier League, but sales may also be needed to ensure maximum funds are available to make the signature.
One area Leeds wants to deal with this summer is their wide choice. Solomon’s wish to re-sign from Tottenham is also linked to the movement of El Haji Malik Diouf of Prague, Slavia.
However, there may be a departure in the area, and my favourite in this respect is Jack Harrison. Jack Harrison returned to Leeds early in the summer following the end of the Everton Loan spell.
Leeds was hoping to hear Jack Harrison’s offer
According to Football Insider (via Leeds Press), former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robison doesn’t expect Harrison to be on Erndo Road by the end of the summer.
“I don’t know if he has a future in Leeds with his manager. I think the way the manager was very open to letting him go is to let him go, either financially or even if the reason was a championship.
“Look at some of the other characters Daniel Fark has moved from the dressing room. The player he likes to work with. Jack Harrison, 28, is on a contract in Leeds until 2028. That’s amazing.
“Leeds paid £10 million to sign him from Man City in 2021. I don’t think they’ll get that, but someone might get a chance around that mark.”
Given that he was regularly relied on last season, a return to Everton is possible for Harrison. He has made 38 appearances at every competition, but they may not be the last one he made in a blue jersey.
