Leeds continues their efforts to build a team they believe will be able to survive in the Premier League next season. Midfield reinforcements are on the club’s athletics agenda and are currently establishing new goals in the field.

Leeds wants to add quality to Daniel Fark’s team and hopes to do so by signing Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff. However, they appear to have turned their attention elsewhere after turning down another offer believed to be in the £12 million area.

And their pursuit of alternatives is now taking them to Greece.

As reported by RMC Sport (via Leedsunited.news), Leeds registered interest with Yusu Yazici. The 28-year-old can leave Olympiacos after only a year at the club, but during that time he was reduced to one look after an ACL injury in October.

Yazici is planning to return to action. This means Leeds will be available upon arrival. However, it requires patience. It’s only a while before he gets 100% match sharpness.

Yazici could be a market opportunity for Leeds, depending on how Olympiacos is valuing. He adds quality to Farke’s Squad if the performance of Türkiye, which he has appeared in forty-five times, is fine.

It is still unclear whether Leeds is making any concrete efforts to sign Yajicchi, but he will be one of several players who will be attracting attention for potential moves in the coming weeks. This has been a productive transfer window so far, but more will be needed before the start of next month’s Premier League season.
