This Saturday, boxing fans will witness the crowning of an undisputed heavyweight champion once again as Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA, WBO, and WBC titles, faces off in a rematch against IBF champion Daniel Dubois at London’s Wembley Stadium. Usyk secured a knockout victory in their initial August 2023 bout by the ninth round, though the result sparked debate due to a contentious moment when Dubois landed a significant body shot that led to Usyk’s knockdown. Dubois and his team have contested the referee’s decision, feeling it was a controversial call in such a critical fight.

Usyk became the undisputed heavyweight champion after defeating Tyson Fury, the then-WBC champion, earning all four major belts by a split decision. However, IBF rules required a rematch, which Dubois earned by winning the interim IBF title during Filip Hrgovic’s suspension in June 2024, later becoming full champion after Usyk was stripped of the belt. Dubois successfully defended his title with a dramatic knockout over Anthony Joshua at Wembley, setting the stage for this highly anticipated rematch where he officially claimed the championship with no controversy.

The fight card for Usyk vs. Dubois II also features several other bouts, including heavyweight and junior welterweight matchups, and the event will be broadcast on DAZN PPV for $59.99 on July 19th, starting at 12:30 pm at Wembley Stadium.

Fight Card & Odds:

  • Oleksandr Usyk (c) -335 vs. Daniel Dubois (c) +260 for the undisputed heavyweight title
