Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is reportedly a true admirer of another England International heading towards Dane’s summer transfer list, in all the drama surrounding Morgan Gibbs White’s potential move to North London.

He expressed his desire to seal the Spurs Switch.
Spurs are ready to support Frank with more new signatures by the deadline date September 1, after sealing off a fee of around £90 million with total fees for Mohammed Kudus, Kotatakai and Mattize Tel.
On all accounts, their total spending should now be around £150 million, if not for Gibbs White’s odd situation.

After a string of quickfire talks later last week, Tottenham is ready to trigger a £60 million release clause for the 25-year-old, and his move to the N17 has progressed so far, Spurs booked a medical test for Gibbs-White on Friday.
But with a surprising twist, Forest unexpectedly blocked his move amid a complaint to the Premier League, believing that Tottenham had tapped Gibbs White and illegally acquired knowledge of his release clause.
Currently, Forest has asserted that Gibbs White is not going anywhere (Sky Sports), but the Spurs hope that they will eventually get the deal done.
As Frank waits for more clarity to see whether Lily White actually gets Gibbs White on the line, the forest has digged into the heels and says Tottenham wants to add a new, traditional central midfielder to the ranks.
Thomas Frank wants to sign Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton
According to Givemesport, Frank’s “main target” in that position is Crystal Palace Sensation Adam Wharton.
The 2024 performance of England International led Gareth Southgate’s three Lions team to win the Euro spot. His latest campaign has been somewhat hampered by injuries, but Wharton is still considered one of the nation’s best rising stars.
GMS reports that Frank personally identified Wharton as a potential Tottenham signature, and could not be blocked by the 21-year-old’s quake £100 million price tag.
The Palace uses Declan Rice’s £105 million move to Arsenal in 2023 as a measure for Wharton’s assessment. Even if Daniel Levy had to completely shatter Tottenham’s transfer records, they could still talk to the former Blackburn Rovers starlet in a “ambitious” move.
In a series of publicly released financial accounts, Levy said the Spurs “can’t use what they don’t have,” but so far the club’s summer fuss has sparked claims of both cash injections from Enic and a potential naming rights trade (telegraph) for stadiums on the horizon.
