Manchester United are in a race to sign a “outstanding” £30 million midfielder with Liverpool, according to a new report.
When the moving window hits Midway Point in July, the Red Devils will be disappointed that they only signed one senior through the door. Despite the Premier League giants struggling to agree to a fee with the London side, the next arrival at Old Trafford appears to be Brentford’s Brian Mbemo.

Man Utd will sign “World Class” £40m ace in formal consultation with Aston Villa
Man Utd has finally begun official consultations.
United are still on the market to strengthen their midfield and forward lines since. Despite Andre Onana still at the club, they were now able to target a new goalkeeper. According to journalist Gaston Edl, United are in discussions with Aston Villa about Emiliano Martinez’s signature.
The Red Devils are said to have advanced their interest in Argentine goalkeeper, but have not yet made a formal offer. The villain is about to win around £40 million for the shot stopper.
My interest in Martinez is due to the focus on questions about onana shape and fitness. Cameroon International has a very turbulent 2024/25 and may disappear at the start of the 2025/26 season after suffering a hamstring injury.
Man Utd will take part in the race for the wolf star Andre
As the Red Devils begin consultations, talks begin to sign Martinez, according to Italian outlet Corrieredero Sports, Man United, broadcast by Team Talc, registered interest in signing Andre of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The report says that, like United, arch rival Liverpool is also interested in signing the Brazilians, and, like United, approached the wolves to let them know their interest. He also adds that, despite the fact that the wolves only signed Andre last summer, they are willing to sell if they receive a fee of £30 million.
The 24-year-old, dubbed “outstanding” by former wolf player Andy Thompson, joined the Midlands side last summer for a £21 million fee. This means that the Premier League will make small returns if they leave £30 million during this transfer period.

Andre, who concluded 12 times by Brazil, played 33 times for the wolves in the Premier League last season, starting 31 of them. The midfielder runs at the foot of the wolf’s midfield and his chances of his arrival at Old Trafford will see him replace Casemiro, which appears to be planning on staying at United, but may not function regularly.
With Andre on the contract until 2029, the wolves are not under pressure to sell the midfielder, so they put some question mark on the reported asking price.
