  • Arsenal is targeting Gyoker’s dream teammates
  • Why Simons becomes a dream signature for Gyoker
        • The £609 million star hopes to join Arsenal by Wednesday, Berta expects a breakthrough

It’s difficult for Arsenal to remember this busy summer.

It wasn’t a month ago that fans were complaining about the lack of business, but now it’s hard to track what’s happening every day.

Mikel Arteta and Co have seriously improved their team with the addition of Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Maduke and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The same can be said about Victor Gyoker, who could be the answer to the Gunners’ goalscoring issues last season. Also, if the report is believed, the club is interested in someone who becomes a Swedish dream.

Arsenal is targeting Gyoker’s dream teammates

Arsenal has linked to an absurd number of players this summer, but if you can call it, it’s fair to say that the most important saga was around Gyoker.

The club switched focus from Benjamin Sesco to the former Coventry City star after it became clear that the German side was not interested in negotiating a reasonable fee.

However, the only thing left to solve for his 27-year-old medical treatment seems to be the add-on. This is because it is widely reported that the initial fee that gunners must pay is around £55 million.

The people of North London may have called it one day after such a gust of wind in the past, but now it appears they are looking at someone who will become the dream teammates of another international ace, Gyoker.

At least that’s according to a recent report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who revealed that Arsenal is interested in Zabi Simons.

Italian journalists revealed that the Gunners had conducted an investigation with RB Leipzig at the start of the window.

Romano has not mentioned how much the Dutch will cost, but a report earlier this summer claims that a fee of around £68.8 million might be enough to secure his service.

It would be a complicated and expensive transfer, but Simons is an incredible talent, and it’s worth the effort, especially as he’ll become a gyoker dream.

Why Simons becomes a dream signature for Gyoker

To understand why Simons is the best signature for Gyoker, you first need to understand how the sportsstar plays.

Interestingly, he can play in several ways, but as evident from last season’s heat map and where he takes his shots, he is first and foremost a specialist in the penalty area.

Therefore, to get the best from Swedish poachers, Arsenal needs a player who can get the ball to him in dangerous areas.

Luckily, the former Paris Saint-Germain gem can attack the top 4% of midfielders and wingers attacking through the ball in Europe’s top five leagues, and the top 7% of passes to the penalty area, according to FBREF.

Furthermore, compared to midfielders alone, the first half of the 22 year old is in the top 1% in progressive carry, and the top 4% in the case of successful take-ons per 90.

In addition to his clear ability to put the ball in the score area, the Amsterdam-born ace, which one analyst calls “one of the best teens in the world,” is also an output machine.

In 33 appearances totaling 2763 in last season, he scored 11 goals and provided eight assists.

Imagine these numbers that look like playing with strikers as prolific as sports monsters.

Ultimately, to raw output from his effectiveness of moving the ball up the pitch, it’s clear that Simons will become Gyoker’s incredible teammate. Therefore, Arsenal should do everything he can to sign him this summer.
