After spending the last two weeks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the PGA Tour will open 3M at TPC Twin City in Blaine, Minnesota to return Stateside. Most of the top players in the world will have a week off after the Scotland Open and Open Championship doubled, but with just two weeks left for Jockeys due to playoff positioning in the FedEx Cup, this means that this week will bring important opportunities for people on the field.
Next week’s top 100 playoff rankings are locking up next year’s PGA Tour cards. This is the first year the tour trimmed that number from 125. Players will also host their first playoff event at St. Jude Classic in top 70 positions, with the top 50 being eliminated into eight signature events on the 2026 calendar.
People like Wyndham Clark (51st), Tony Finau (59th), and Ricky Fowler (63rd) are about to make it into that final category, but Adam Scott (85th), Tom Kim (89th), and Max Houma (102nd) are hoping to find a victory that can push them into the playoffs. Not only do they feel pressure to perform this week, they can see that it can create a compelling tournament and have a big impact on the playoffs and next season.
Here’s how you can see that drama unfolding in TPC Twin City this weekend:
