  • Man United was able to sign Benjamin Sesco on a bargain deal
  • Reuben Amorim wants a new number 9

Manchester United are actively evaluating striker options this summer, with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco firmly on the radar.

According to the trustworthy Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, a unique “gentlemen’s agreement” allows you to sign Sesko at a more reasonable price than originally thought.

United have already stepped up their offensive ranks with Brian Mbemo and Matthew Cunya. Still, their long-term number of nine searches continues.

Romano revealed that while RB Leipzig was the first to set challenging prices, Sesko is designating a smaller group of “special clubs” where more realistic rates apply.

For qualified United, this leads to a total package of around £60-65 million, far below other reported ratings.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano revealed that Man United could become one of the clubs where he could be allowed to sign Sesco at bargain prices.

“Manchester United are still discussing Benjamin Sesco internally.” Romano said.

“It’s not easy because it’s an expensive deal, but don’t forget the gentleman’s agreement I told you.

“For some clubs that Benjamin Sesco directed as his special club, the price of the Sesco package is a fixed fee of 70 million to 80 million euros and an add-on of 50 million euros.”

After constant failures from Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, demand for the new number 9 number has increased at Old Trafford.

Cunha and Mbeumo arrive and provide an offensive edge to the Red Devils, but they need a new number 9 that can lead the offense and solve goalscoring problems.

The United Face Contest with Newcastle United also participates in races in which he signs Bundesliga strikers. After Alexander Isaac revealed he wanted to leave St James Park this summer, Magpie took part in the race to sign Sesco.

With ISAK’s potential sales, Newcastle will be more financially equipped to pursue Sesco’s deals. Meanwhile, the Red Devils have to raise money for their transfer business by selling players.

This summer will be an exciting race for one of Europe’s best young attackers.
